Mabuhay! This is a Filipino verb in the form of a command: "LIVE!" It is also a wish: "May you LIVE!" It is an invocation and a celebration of life itself. I invoke this Filipino greeting to welcome you to my life lived for Art and lived for Love or in Italian, Vissi d'Arte, Vissi d'Amore, taken from Act II of Giacomo Puccini's opera Tosca, one of my favorites! Too bad we didn't see each other when i was there last august.
